Tammy Fisher, MPH
Chief Program Officer
Tammy serves as the Chief Program Officer for the Learning Center, supporting the development, implementation, and oversight of the Learning Center’s programs and technical assistance strategy, including the Department of Health Care Services’ Equity and Practice Transformation Directed Payment Program. Tammy has extensive experience implementing successful multi-payer practice transformation initiatives at scale in primary care in California and nationally. This includes work in the Medi-Cal delivery system as well as private practice settings and integrated health systems.
Throughout her career, Tammy has played leadership roles in care redesign, implementing value-based care, training and facilitation, program development and execution, and healthcare operations. Most recently, she was the Senior Director of Clinical Quality at Aledade, Inc., where she led national quality strategies. Tammy has also held leadership roles at the Center for Care Innovations, Partnership HealthPlan of California, and the San Francisco Health Plan.
Tammy holds a Master of Public Health from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. In her free time, Tammy enjoys hiking and hosting dinner parties for friends and family.
