Sinthu Sathia Kumar, MPH, PMP, currently serves as a Project Manager at the Learning Center, where she supports the Health Plan of San Mateo and Value Based Payment projects, in addition to advancing organization-wide project management standardization. She is deeply committed to improving health access and equity, and to bringing structure and clarity to complex, community-focused initiatives.

Previously, she was a Senior Project Manager at a behavioral health consulting firm, where she managed large-scale behavioral health and crisis response efforts totaling over $400 million across 58 California counties and 95 partner organizations. Her work focused on leading cross-functional collaboration, overseeing complex contract portfolios, and implementing systems that streamlined reporting and reduced administrative burden.

Earlier in her career, Sinthu served as a Project Manager II at L.A. Care Health Plan on the Quality Improvement team, supporting more than 2.2 million Medi-Cal and Medicare members. In this role, she led cross-functional teams and launched targeted outreach campaigns in high-need areas.

In addition to her professional work, Sinthu previously served as an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco, where she taught healthcare project management. She has a strong passion for teaching and enjoys mentoring others in the field.

Sinthu earned her Master of Public Health from the University of Southern California, graduating as a Delta Omega scholar with a concentration in Public Health Policy. She brings a strong foundation in program and project management, strategic planning, research, and community engagement, with a continued focus on advancing equitable, community-centered healthcare solutions.
