Kathleen Figoni, MHA
Senior Program Manager
For more than a decade, Kathleen has worked to strengthen the health and well-being of historically underinvested communities by leading equity-centered initiatives that address upstream drivers of health. She has extensive experience designing and managing learning collaboratives, building multi-sector partnerships, and supporting care delivery transformation across the healthcare safety net.
Kathleen has served in roles including program manager, facilitator, consultant, and trainer, partnering with federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), community-based organizations, and public agencies nationwide. Earlier in her career, she spent over six years at a Northern California FQHC, where she led an innovation portfolio using human-centered design, systems thinking, and process improvement to address community needs—advancing solutions related to transportation access, homelessness, opioid response, and social needs integration.
Most recently, Kathleen spent more than six years at the Center for Care Innovations, where she led learning collaboratives and developed curricula to support safety-net organizations in advancing health equity. She is passionate about helping organizations co-design solutions with communities and translate learning into practical strategies that drive measurable impact.
Kathleen holds a bachelor’s degree in Multicultural Studies from Sonoma State University and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from California State University, East Bay. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, attending meditation circles, and exploring new cuisines.
